Title: 1973 LJ GTR-XU1 Replica - Approx Value: $20,000. I am genuinely interested in the Torana’s racing history, more specifically as an underdog of the racing scene; distinguished and well marketed.

I have been highly active in restoring my Torana for the past two years. Currently I run the following specifications which I have mostly done myself: A reconditioned 202 with a ported and polished Yella Terra head, YT roller rockers, triple Weber side-draught carbies, lightened flywheel, performance headers and straight-through 2¼in exhaust, four-speed M21, XU-1 discs and front suspension, XU-1 Mustard Yellow two-pack and original Globe Sprintmasters. Interior has a genuine XU-1 dash, steering wheel and seats.

I have conditioned the LJ to replicate the original conditions of the LJ GTR-XU1. I see specific value in the Torana’s lack of un-genuine modifications; I’m not interested in modifying a car to the point where it becomes disassociated from its history. I enjoy taking my Car to summer events. I appreciate spending time with people who have similar interests and can respect mine. I take the opportunity to learn as much as I can about cars from the people I surround myself with.
