Located at Rosebery, the Hillsong proposal intends to revitalise the area by creating a high quality, architecturally designed church and community facility. I was highly involved with the Hillsong Church thoughout the process of Design Development. I did numerous design options for the client. I have contributed to the development of the auditorium, the commercial building and the site treatment. I was involved with the understanding of special requirements associated with auditorium design. (Including acoustic and circulation requirements) The hillsong proposal was produced in Autodesk Revit 2008.

The development seeks to provide social and cultural amenities for the local community. The proposal consists of 3 major elements; a 2700 Seat Auditorium, a 10,000m2 commercial office and a public park. The pattern and form of the proposal is drawn from the contemporary and historic features of Rosebery. The proposal responds to local harmony, accessibility, and church needs. The Hillsong development is particularly sensitive to the modern ethics of sustainability.
