East Darling Harbour Proposal (Large Scale Urban Development) - The following was produced over a 14 week period, all documentation and graphics were generated from Rhino 3.0.

The East Darling Harbour Proposal was developed through extensive research and exploration of city studies. I aimed for the outcome to provide a strong overall focus on promoting sustainable and creative land use. The Urban proposal endeavours to provide a recycling facility as part of an integrated and overall theme.

The proposal seeks ‘An Interaction Between space, movement and event.’ The built outcome offers intimate, interlocked and intractable associations between the harbour and the program. The proposal provides 3 major design elements; a continual surface, programmatic pavilion’s and various connections of movement and circulation.

The proposal seeks to be active; it is not an image of nature. The outcome explores the possibility of interaction through circulation. Discontinuous buildings are positioned between the city, the harbour and the ‘surface’.
